Guest speaker, John Jonez,.author of "At The Heart of Generosity: What Jesus Actually Said About Money"  joined the monthly call. John has had a remarkable career as a financial executive in high-technology companies. He holds a Master's degree in both Finance and Accounting from the University of Washington and is a Certified Management Accountant. John is also a published author and has served as an adjunct instructor at the university level. For over 15 years, he has passionately volunteered as a leader in Biblical Stewardship and Generosity. With the heart of a teacher, John's mission is to help followers of Jesus Christ understand the relationship between wealth, generosity, and discipleship. He is frequently invited to teach or facilitate discussions on these topics. Currently, John serves as an Executive Board Member for the National Christian Foundation in Austin, Texas. Alongside his wife Kirsten, John has served in various roles at their church, including participating in numerous short-term mission trips to Central America and Africa. They reside in Leander, Texas.
